FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of producing melt epoxy binders for structural polymeric composite materials (PCM) based on fibrous fillers, obtained by prepreg technology, used in production of high load structures, which can be used in aeronautic, cosmic, automobile, ship-building, railway transport and other technical fields. Epoxy binder has the following components in the following ratio (wt. %): difunctional epoxy resin based on bisphenol A 35.0–44.0; nitrogen-containing multi-purpose epoxy resin 12.0–26.0; thermoplastic 9.0–18.5; hardener aromatic diamine with sulpho bridge 10.5–15.5; hardener aromatic diamine with methylene bridge 10.0–19.0. Prepreg comprises said epoxy binder and fibrous filler in the following ratio (wt. %): epoxy binder 30.0–50.0, fibrous filler 50.0–70.0.

EFFECT: epoxy binder according to invention and prepreg made on its base, allows to improve technological characteristics, which simplifies the process of obtaining products from them for low-cost non-autoclave vacuum technology, and also provides the possibility of creating heat-resistant PCM and obtaining materials with higher level of preservation of physical and mechanical properties (ultimate resistance at interlaminar shear) at operating temperature up to 150 °C.
