FIELD: hydraulic structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic structures and is intended for protection of settlements from flooding during flooding. Water-flooding soil dam contains protective screen, water collector with back filter and flexible waterproof material pressed to upper edge of dam facing water area and reinforced concrete beam. Protective screen is made in the form of vertically installed wall from plastic scraper, which adjoins surface of dam, facing water area. Flexible waterproof material is hooked in the dam body. At the same time its lower end is pressed by soil and placed under reverse filter, located in lower part of external slope of dam. Water collector is arranged in lowland of protected territory and connected to water area by pipeline with gate valve.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the volume of construction material and reduce the area of the territory allocated for construction of the structure.
