SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used in production of casts from aluminum alloys. Cap is made in the form of a hollow body, at that the body consists of two parts, one of which is cylindrical, and second – in the form of a truncated cone, wherein the tapered part of the housing is oriented to the cylindrical part of the housing by the larger base, at the same time on the free edge of the cylindrical part a process belt is made.
EFFECT: invention provides higher-quality sealed closing of joint of film of profits and verges, and film of cover-type on molding-mold top molding ring by increasing area of contact between cap and surface of vacuum-film mold, prevents ingress of sand into vacuum-film casting mold at process of casting creation, reduces labor input and increases speed of preparation of mold half-mold to assembly of mold, improves quality of produced casts.
