FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to UHF radar methods of territorial areas protection. Two active range-finding radars with chirp signals are placed at the edge of the protected area and are spaced apart by one edge of the protected territory, each of which irradiates the entire protected area with a flat wide azimuth angle of 60–150 degrees and a narrow beam in the elevation plane of 5–10 degrees of the beam, and the antenna directivity axes intersect at angle of 90 degrees. Both RLS signals form two mutually orthogonal meshes of arc-shaped range zones, each of which is extracted and detected at outputs of comb filters of receiving radar channels; which output signals are supplied to orthogonal inputs of two-dimensional indicator matrix, which enables to generate alarm signal in polar coordinate system.
EFFECT: technical result is providing determination of intruder coordinates and movement thereof in real time.
