FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for resistive heating of different media. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the tubular electric heater includes a housing, inside which there is a tube of dielectric material and a conductor consisting of interconnected spirals, installed on the tube, and the rod passing inside the tube, and is characterized by that electric resistance of one meter of conductor, from which the spiral is made, at least in 2 times exceeds electrical resistance of one meter of rod, which is ensured by increase in cross-section area of rod by its longitudinal twisting.

EFFECT: higher temperature of tubular electric heater.
