SUBSTANCE: described is siRNA for inhibiting expression of GST-π, containing a sense chain and an antisense chain, where the chains form a duplex region, and where the antisense strand is SEQ ID NO: 157, and the sense strand is SEQ ID NO: 131, where the length of each chain is 30 nucleotides or less. Described also is a composition containing said siRNA. Disclosed is a method of treating a disease associated with GST-π expression. Also disclosed is siRNA for inhibiting expression of GST-π, comprising a sense chain and an antisense chain, where the chains form a duplex region, and where the antisense strand is SEQ ID NO: 195, and the sense strand is SEQ ID NO: 183, where length of each chain is 30 nucleotides or less. Disclosed are corresponding pharmaceutical compositions.
EFFECT: invention can be used in methods for preventing or treating a disease, such as a malignant tumor.
