FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for application of coating by electrodeposition on thread of inner periphery of end part of steel pipe. Device comprises first sealing element arranged inside steel pipe for sealing and a second sealing element located at the end of the steel pipe and together with the steel pipe and the first sealing element forming a receiving cavity for receiving electrolyte, an electrode located in the receiving cavity, a plurality of nozzles arranged inside the receiving cavity and located around the axis of the steel pipe for electrolyte injection, and a holder provided on the second sealing element for holding a plurality of nozzles, wherein electrolyte is injected by each of nozzles in direction inclined at an angle of more than 20 degrees and less than 90 degrees to internal thread relative to plane perpendicular to axis of pipe, and holder comprises electrolytic channel for supply of electrolyte to nozzles, at that, first sealing element is fixed on holder, holder contains first channel passing along axis of pipe, and the first sealing element includes a disc comprising a second channel extending to its outer periphery and communicating with the first channel, and a gasket installed on the outer periphery of the disc in contact with the inner periphery of the steel pipe.
EFFECT: technical result is minimization of uncoated sections when applying coating layer from alloy on surface of thread on steel pipe.
