FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to a titanium alloy sheet for an electrode used as the main material for an electrode in an electrolytic cell during electrolysis. Titanium alloy sheet for electrode contains Al 0.1–1.0 wt. % and/or Si 0.1–1.0 wt. %, Ti and unavoidable impurities are the rest, and has on its surface oxide film containing Al and/or Si. Total content of Al and Si in sheet is 0.2–1.0 wt. %, average size of grains in sheet is 5–20 mcm, and total content of Al and Si in oxide film is 0.08–0.55 wt. %. Providing reduction of electric resistance at formation of electrode catalyst layer on surface.

EFFECT: high efficiency of electrolysis is realized.
