SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to means of identifying a reaction region associated with an amplification curve selected from a plurality of amplification curves (104, 204, 304, 404). A method for identifying a reaction region includes: receiving amplification data from a plurality of reaction regions, wherein each reaction region comprises a sample; generating a plurality of amplification curves from amplification data in real time; displaying a first portion of a plurality of amplification curves on a display screen; displaying a list of displays of reaction areas associated with a first portion of the amplification curves, along with a first portion of the amplification curves on the display screen; shifting from the first part of the plurality of amplification curve views to display a view comprising a second portion of the plurality of amplification curves, wherein at least a portion of the second portion of the plurality of amplification curves is not included in the first portion of the plurality of amplification curves; and dynamic adjustment of the list for displaying indications of reaction areas associated with viewed amplification curves included in the second portion of the plurality of amplification curves, along with the second part of plurality of amplification curves on the display screen in real time, wherein the list is configured to scroll, displaying information on an instrument used for simultaneous measurement of signals from a plurality of samples in real time. Also, corresponding system of reaction area identification and computer-readable data medium are realized.
