System for biological analysis, comprising: a unit for sample preparation, which comprises a sample preparation unit configured to receive a sample holder, wherein the sample holder is configured to receive a plurality of samples; control system configured to cycle multiple samples on a number of temperatures; and automated tray containing movable assembly, wherein the tray is configured for reversible sliding movement of the assembly of the sample preparation unit from the closed to the open position to provide the user with access to the plurality of sample holders; tray or assembly of sample preparation unit additionally comprises a plate configured to block light emitted from the position sensor.

EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of analysing biological samples.
