DEVICE FIXING MUTUALLY SPATIAL ORIENTATION OF BONE FRAGMENTS IN OPTIMAL ANATOMICAL AND FUNCTIONAL POSITION IN COURSE OF PERFORMING PELVIC OSTEOTOMY WITH HIP JOINT DYSPLASIA Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/56 A61F2/28 A61B17/68

Abstract RU 2719652 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device fixing mutually spatial orientation of bone fragments in optimal anatomical and functional position in the course of pelvic osteotomy with hip dysplasia comprises two retainers interconnected by bridge. One retainer is made in the form of a volumetric patch of congruent shape with the possibility of a dense fit on the wing of ilium in its front anterior spine. Other retainer is made in the form of an overlay plate congruent in the shape of a region of the lateral cortex of the anterior neck. Device is made individual as a result of that at preoperative planning stage performing computed tomography, data of which are used in program for obtaining three-dimensional image in 3D, then on the obtained volumetric image of pelvic bones osteotomy of the iliac bone is performed with subsequent determination of the optimal degree of bone coating of the head of the femoral bone of the acetabular by means of rotational transposition of the acetabular fragment obtained after the osteotomy of the iliac bone duct, and then, after obtaining optimal degree of rotation of cotyloid cavity and complete coverage of femoral head, device is made virtually, which is further made on 3D printer.

EFFECT: invention provides higher clinical effectiveness by performing iliac osteotomy and transposition of cotyloid cavity with maximum accurate individual correction of spatial position using device fixing mutually spatial orientation of bone fragments in optimal anatomical and functional position, individually manufactured.
