FIELD: physics; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: rotation speed switching control system is applied to a vehicle comprising: transmission; wheel coupled with transmission; electric motor, in which torque or rotation frequency is changed by changing transmission ratio; and an electric power storage device connected to the electric motor. Controller is configured to select a first mode if the SOC level of the electric power storage device is below a predetermined level, and to select a second mode if the SOC level of the electric power storage device is equal to or higher than a predetermined level.
EFFECT: disclosed is a rotation speed switching control system which suppresses vehicle behaviour change and prevents energy efficiency reduction.
