FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge (120) with stock of fluid medium, horizontally inserted perpendicular to direction of gravity into device (140) of fluid ejection, comprises housing (122), fluid stock (128) inside housing, digital sensor (124) of fluid level located inside housing (122) and in contact with fluid medium for measurement of level of fluid medium inside housing (122) and horizontal interface (100) at housing (122) end for connection of cartridge with stock of fluid medium with fluid medium ejection device. Interface comprises: fluid-communicating partition (102A) for fluid supply medium horizontal connection to fluid ejection device; electrical interface (104) for electrically connecting the digital fluid level sensor to the corresponding electrical interface (144) of the fluid ejection device (140); wherein fluid-communicating baffle (102A) is the first fluid-connecting baffle for supplying fluid from the cartridge with a fluid supply to the fluid ejection device. Horizontal interface further comprises a second fluid-communicating partition (102B) for returning fluid and air from the fluid ejection device to the fluid cartridge.
EFFECT: disclosed is a horizontal interface for a cartridge with a fluid stock having a digital fluid level sensor.
