SUBSTANCE: in embodiments of the present invention, there are disclosed microneedle patches and systems, as well as methods of using these patches and systems. In one aspect, a microneedle patch comprising a tongue portion for manipulating the microneedle patch is disclosed. In another aspect, disclosed is a system comprising a microneedle patch and a holder for placing a microneedle patch inside it. In another aspect, various indicators are proposed to provide feedback before, during and after application of the microneedle patch.
EFFECT: preferably, the described microneedle patches and systems provide the improved manipulation and facilitate the application of the microneedle patches to the skin in order to deliver the therapeutic agents.
