FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to thermal degassing of heat-resistant granules, titanium alloy or steels and their preparation for compaction. Vacuum thermal degassing is carried out in movable layer by means of dosed supply of granules through special disperser at rate of 30–50 kg/h at temperature of 130–400 °C and pressure of not more than 1·10-3 mm Hg. Steel capsule is filled with granules and its sealing is performed by squeezing backfill pipe. Degassing device contains a hopper with granules, a steel capsule, a vibration table, a vacuum system, a servicing frame and a disperser having in the bottom zone a cooling system consisting of backfilling of steel balls arranged in several zones and equipped with heaters.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of degassing process and improved technological properties of powder.
