FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of hermetic capsules with metal powder for hot isostatic pressing (HIP) of articles. Transport hoppers with the powder are prepared and joined with the evacuated loading unit and the powder heating unit. Receiving gates of the transport hoppers are opened and evacuated. Powder is poured into the loading unit. Inert gas is supplied to the loading unit. Filled loading unit is heated and, simultaneously, the capsule is heated while evacuating. Vacuum shall be produced in the hoppers and leveled in the entire volume of the installation, then the powder is fed into the heated capsule; simultaneously the vibration compaction and degassing of the powder is produced. Vibration compaction and capsule heating shall be stopped. Mechanical compaction of the feed neck is performed at a level above the granules filled into the capsule and a hermetic welded joint is created at the point of contact of the clamping mechanism and the sealing of the capsule neck in the area of the compressed feed neck.

EFFECT: quality and strength of HIP products are improved.
