FIELD: vehicle lighting system.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to lighting device for storage compartment in vehicle. Lighting device comprises a compartment cover element, an emitter, a sensor and a controller. Element of the compartment cover is made with possibility to close the hole of the compartment for storage of things. Emitter is located near the hole and is configured to output radiation, made with possibility of falling on part of compartment cover element, when cover is oriented in closed position. Sensor is configured to generate a detection signal when radiation incident on part of the compartment cover element is detected. Controller is functionally connected to sensor and is configured to interpret detection signal, to activate the first lighting mode in response to the detection signal, which detects that the storage element of the storage compartment is in the open position, and to activate the second lighting mode in response to the detection signal which detects radiation incident on part of the compartment cover element.
EFFECT: possibility to use lighting devices for increase of storage convenience in storage compartments.
