FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a toner cartridge, to a toner supplying mechanism, and to a shutter to form electrophotographic images. Disclosed group of inventions includes a toner cartridge detachably mounted in a receiving device, and a toner supply mechanism comprising a toner cartridge. Said toner cartridge comprises: a container including a toner placement portion and an outlet for dispensing toner from the accommodating portion to the receiving device, and an opening/closing element including a closing section for closing the said outlet opening and an engaging section movable with respect to said closing section, wherein said opening / closing element can move relative to said container between (a) an open position for forced opening of said outlet through said closure part and (b) a closed position for forced closure of said outlet through said closure part in a direction intersecting with the longitudinal direction of said container, at that, said engaging part can move relative to said closing part between (c) engaged position for engagement with receiving device to receive force for movement of said opening / closing element from open position to closed position, when the said toner cartridge is removed from the receiver, and (d) the retracted position withdrawn from the engaged position, and wherein said engaging part can move from retracted position to engaged position, at least inside in longitudinal direction of said container, with movement of said opening / closing element from closed position to open position.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of convenience and ease of use.
