FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a toner cartridge, to a toner supplying mechanism, and to a shutter to form electrophotographic images. Disclosed group of inventions includes a toner cartridge and a toner supply mechanism comprising a toner cartridge. At that, said toner cartridge comprises: a container including a substantially cylindrical outer surface, a toner positioning portion, and an outlet for dispensing toner, a gate including a closing portion for closing said outlet and an engaging portion movable relative to said closure portion, wherein gate is made with possibility of rotation along cylindrical outer surface of said container between open position for forced opening of said outlet hole by means of said closing part and closed position for forced closing of said outlet hole by means of said closing part, and a guide of the engaging part configured to direct the engaging portion so as to move the engaging portion at least in the longitudinal direction of the said container relative to the closing portion in response to the rotation of the gate, wherein the engaging part includes a protrusion protruding at least towards the outside in the radial direction of the container.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of convenience and simplification of use.
