FIELD: technological processes; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting of sunken large-sized objects, in particular, floating docks, tankers and other ships and vessels. Disclosed is a method of lifting a sunken object, comprising sealing an object housing, supplying compressed air (gas) into its compartments and removing water from compartments through water discharge (squeezing) pipes, wherein the water drain (squeezing) tubes are installed with displacement to the ends of the blown compartments: in the nose compartments – towards the nose end of the object, in the aft compartments – towards the feeding end of the object, and the compressed air (gas) supply into the compartments is performed starting from the compartment of the lifted end, furthest from the midship, then blowing compartment opposite end, closest to midship, with gradual approach of purged sections of lifted end to midship, and compartments of opposite end – from midship to tip, note here that lifted tip selects recessed end of sunken object.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of safety of lifting of sunken object, reduction of duration of lifting.
