SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stator slot of stator of large-size steam-turbine electric generator in present invention, which is a paired structure comprising an upper and a lower wedges, upper wedge (1) is an auxiliary, and lower wedge (2) is the main, upper surface of upper wedge is located flush in recess or upper surface of upper wedge is recessed in recess. On upper surface of lower wedge there is connecting slot (3) of "dovetail" type, and lower surface of upper wedge (1) is made convex section corresponding to said slot (3), fixed in connecting slot (3). Another version is the slot between upper wedge (1) and lower wedge (2), in which the magnetic slot wedge is inserted.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce damage and local overheating of the generator rotor, reduce the harmonic component of the magnetic field in the air gap, avoiding action on the generator due to extremely high temperature of structural elements at the ends of the generator, improving safety and stability of the generator.
