FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of calibrating an optical measuring device. Method of calibration involves additional steps: b) rectification of each image (I1, I2, I3) of camera relative to one common reference plane in measuring volume (V) using a pre-calibrated display function for each of them, c) performing a two-dimensional correlation for at least one pair of rectified images (Ir1, Ir2, Ir3) of cameras in order to create a corresponding number of correlation fields (C12), wherein each correlation field (C12) shows an elongated band of correlation maxima band, d) for each correlation field (C12): d1) reducing the correlation maxima band to a representative line (g12), d2) determination of the distance (d12) from that representative line (g12) to the origin of the correlation coordinate field (C12) as a correction value, e) correcting display functions of those cameras (K1, K2, K3), in which rectified images (Ir1, Ir2, Ir3) of cameras have been included in correlation at stage c, using certain correction values.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing calibration method for high densities of particles in three-dimensional measuring volumes.
