EXPANDABLE STENT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61F2/915

Abstract RU 2720843 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stent, and can be used in coronary, cerebral and peripheral area for expansion and recanalization of narrowed vessels and for separation of aneurysms, shunts and undesirable branches in vessels. Stent comprises separate annular segments, webs of which have meander-shaped shape, and connecting jumpers between adjacent annular segments, which converge at connection points with annular segments jumpers. In the angles of connection points, which during expansion of stent is flattened, there are driving from outside into annular jumpers and connecting jumpers and passing through the circular bridges and connection bridges of the recess, which are open to the edge and have rounded contours to reduce the stresses arising during expansion of the stent.

EFFECT: invention provides reducing stresses that occur during stent expansion.
