FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to a double stent serving, in particular, as a stent graft for blocking vascular malformations, such as aneurysms and shunts, and for reinforcing unstable, worn, or thrombotic vessel walls. The stent is used as a blocking mechanism in branching stented vessels or prostheses. The double stent is made with two coaxial stents. A first membrane is located between the first, internal stent and the second, external stent and a second membrane is located on the second stent. The ends of the first and second membranes are connected at the ends of the stents, bent to the inside of the first stent and secured there. The first, internal stent is made of a first material, and the second, external stent is made of a second material. The second, external stent constitutes a cylinder-expandable stent, and the first, internal stent consists of a shape-memory alloy, in particular, a nickel-titanium alloy. Both stents have different lengths. The first, internal stent at the proximal end thereof is equipped with additional securing elements, in particular, in the form of notches and/or a bell-shaped expansion.
EFFECT: above stent corresponds with the requirements for density and reliability, provides the necessary connectivity, has a sufficiently high radial force and, simultaneously, sufficient flexibility.
