FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a capillary structure for directed fluid transfer and a substrate for directed liquid transfer. Capillary structure for passive directed fluid transfer comprises capillary 20 with forward and backward directions. Capillary 20 comprises first and second capillary cells 25, each of which has a sequence of capillary components including a binding portion in fluid communication with the divergent portion. Expanding section has a front side and dimensions which make the concave meniscus move in the forward direction. Connecting section of second cell 25 is connected to the front side of the divergent section of first cell 25 so that it forms at least one transition section. Changes in dimensions of the transition section cause the convex meniscus of liquid or the liquid meniscus with infinite radius of curvature to move in the reverse direction.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at improvement of efficiency in fluid movement.
