FIELD: agricultural industry.

SUBSTANCE: sprayer (1, 100) for dosing a liquid medicinal product on poultry contains: (a) air supply means (10) for creating air flow through sprayer (1, 100), wherein said air supply means (10) is structurally configured to be connected to (b) head (20) assembled, structurally configured to be attached to air supply means (10). Said assembly head (20) comprises: (i) air supply means adapter (21) for connecting head (20) assembly with air supply means (10); (ii) at least one air guide hub (22, 62) for directing air flow coming from air supply means (10), wherein at least one hood (22, 62) is characterized by that, that it has at least three diameters D1, D2 and D3 and at least two angles A1 and A2; wherein D1 is at least from about 30 % to about 50 % less than D2; (iii) liquid spraying means in the form of a rotary disk atomizer (23, 23a) for converting liquid into droplets with size smaller than a millimeter, wherein sprayer (23, 23a) is located in the center of cap (22, 62); (iv) fastener for attachment of sprayer (23, 23a) to assembly head (20); (v) engine (15, 24) mechanically connected to sprayer (23, 23A); and as an option (vi) receiver (45) for battery for holding battery, which is electrically connected to engine (15, 24). Method of vaccinating poultry against respiratory tract infection agents from a distance of at least about 5 meters comprises a step of administering to said poultry an effective amount of at least one respiratory virus antigen, made in the form of drops of equal size, having diameter from approximately 50 mcm to approximately 200 mcm, using sprayer (1, 100) of extended range of action. Method of treating poultry with a probiotic composition by spraying a probiotic composition in form of drops of equal size, having diameter from approximately 50 mcm to approximately 200 mcm, from sprayer (1, 100), wherein poultry is treated from a distance of at least about 5 meters to a distance of at least about 10 meters from sprayer (1, 100), which enables poultry to consume said drops.

EFFECT: using the device enables to obtain the same droplet size, the device is not too difficult to use and is powered by a battery, therefore, is not too noisy for poultry, and also expands range of vaccine and probiotics, which are supplied directly into system of upper respiratory tract, including here eyes, nasal cavity and trachea.
