FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition containing Eimeria live oocysts and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The composition differs in that it contains TLR3 agonist. The composition can be used for producing a vaccine for poultry against coccidiosis. The vaccine can be applied, for example, in the form of a large-drop jet to chickens at the age of one day. TLR3 agonist in the vaccine allows for reducing Eimeria oocyst dose for up to 4 times, while obtaining the same level of infection protection as for the vaccine without TLR3 agonist. Alternatively, when using generally accepted Eimeria oocyst dose in the vaccine, TLR3 agonist causes earlier immunity beginning, which leads to significant reduction in point assessment of focuses in the intestine after the infection already 2 instead of 3 weeks after vaccination.
EFFECT: obtaining a vaccine for poultry against coccidiosis.
