SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a kit for inducing an immune response to Streptococcus pneumoniae. Kit contains: (a) a first immunogenic composition containing a glycoconjugate of S. pneumoniae serotype 15B, 22F, 33F, 12F, 10A, 11A, 8, wherein said glycoconjugates are individually conjugated with CRM197 (cross-reacting material 197); and (b) a second immunogenic composition containing glycoconjugates of S. pneumoniae serotypes 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F and 23F, and wherein said glycoconjugates are individually conjugated to CRM197, for concomitant, parallel or sequential administration of the first and second immunogenic compositions, wherein the glycoconjugates represent capsular polysaccharides of said serotypes conjugated with CRM197.

EFFECT: invention can be used for vaccination of human subjects, in particular infants and elderly people, against pneumococcal infections.
