FIELD: computing equipment for image processing.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by processing inspected images to obtain processed inspected images with multiple contrast levels, wherein processing further includes repeating determination of degree of homogeneity for plurality of contrast levels based on said classification, wherein said repetition is performed for a sequence of contrast levels from a plurality of contrast levels, as long as the classification includes classification of one or more inspected images as having a degree of homogeneity above a predetermined heterogeneity threshold, wherein processing further includes stopping said repetition when the classification includes classifying one or more inspected images as having a degree of homogeneity below a predetermined heterogeneity threshold.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of inspected images classification.
