FIELD: hand tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a handheld striking tool. Proposed tool comprises head with hole to accommodate tool handle end. Head and end of handle are attached to each other by means of spacer wedge element, which is hammered into handle split. Head and handle are rigidly connected to each other and spacer wedge element by metal rods arranged in holes intersecting head, handle and spacer wedge element. Head and handle are interconnected by additional metal rods arranged in holes crossing head and handle. Holes for arrangement of metal rods are made with extensions at ends for riveting ends of rods flush with edges of tool head.
EFFECT: lower injury rate of manual percussion tool and higher reliability of fixation of hand percussion tool on handle.
