SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hand-operated percussion instrument. The tool contains a metal head with a hole in which the end of the wooden handle is placed. The head and the handle are fastened together with the help of a spacer wedge driven into the split of the handle. The hole in the head is made expanding towards the split, and the walls of the hole, parallel to the split line, are made in a stepped shape.
EFFECT: increased safety when working with the tool and the reliability of mounting the head on the handle.
