FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in vacuum for low-thrust rocket engines heat insulation, and can also be used in low temperature equipment. Shield-vacuum heat insulation is made in the form of a two-layer set of strips spirally wound on a cylindrical inner shape-resistant screen arranged above the insulated surface of the rocket engine, and a cylindrical external form-stable screen. Two-layer set of strips includes main heat-insulating screen and gasket. In cylindrical inner form-stable screen and two-layer set of strips at their centre and perpendicular to axis of symmetry of heat insulation there formed are two through holes, in which brackets are inserted and fixed by twisting. Diameter of the through holes and the diameter of the bracket are selected from the condition of providing the minimum possible gap between them, which makes it possible to fix layers of strips on the brackets with virtually constant gap between layers, wherein the brackets embrace the cylindrical inner shape-stable shield edge and all layers of the two-layer set of strips on the side of the inlet part of the rocket engine.
EFFECT: invention provides high heat-insulating capacity of screen-vacuum heat insulation due to providing identical gaps between layers of heat-insulating screen during operation of low-thrust rocket engine.
