SUBSTANCE: disc-shaped sample holder, sample processing method and sample retention means are proposed in the processing method, where the agent is the said disc-shaped sample holder. Disc- shaped sample holder has facilities for sample processing, at that it includes receiving chamber for sampling tool, means for sample separation from sampling tool. Sampling instrument is a tampon, and means for separation have connection means for connection without possibility of movement of sample holder to drive mechanism. Method involves placing a sampling tool with a sampled sample into a receiving chamber, removing a sample from the sampling tool and providing the sample for processing. Sample is separated from the sampling tool by movement of the sample holder.
EFFECT: inventions provide simplification of manipulations when implementing a method of examining a sample.
