SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifugation device for separation of plasma from whole blood with application of small volumes of samples, to method and system for plasma separation. Proposed device comprises housing, chamber, channel and cover. Housing has a first opening and a vent hole and is configured to rotate about an axis passing through the center of the housing. Chamber formed by the case and the cover is connected to the first hole. Width of first section of chamber decreases between first width in first position and second width value in second place inside chamber, the first width being greater than the second width. Channel is connected to the above second chamber point and is located so that there is a path for gas movement from the channel to the ventilation hole. Cover forms wall for chamber sealing.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of plasma separation.
