FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a multimode radio frequency sensor to enable simultaneous implementation of several different functions. Multimode radio frequency sensor is configured to be mounted on a movable platform and comprises a fixed base, a rotating portion which is rotatable relative to fixed base 110, wherein on rotating part 120 RF radar 130 is installed, which contains transmitting and receiving channels with antennas with different aperture, and a monitoring and processing device 140 configured to control the operation modes of the multi-mode RF sensor to induce the multi-mode RF sensor 100 to the operation of RF radar 130 at certain times through the antennas with the first aperture, and at other certain time moments through antennas 132.2, 134.2 with a second aperture.
EFFECT: simple design of the end product, simple circuit of interaction between components of the end product, provision of multimodality using a single RF radar.
