SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biological production of recombinant proteins and antibodies. Disclosed are a method of controlling formation of disulphide bonds between polypeptides of a multimeric protein obtained using a biological method and a method of controlling the fraction of molecules of semi-antibodies in a solution containing a set of antibody molecules. Method comprises contacting a solution comprising polypeptides or a plurality of antibody molecules, contained in a cell-free solution, with a conditioned solution containing 2-mercaptoethylamine (2-MEA) in concentration of 0.5 mM to 2.0 mM and having pH of 4.0 to 4.8. Mixture is incubated at temperature of 2 °C to 8 °C.
EFFECT: inventions provide a rapid reduction, for approximately 30 minutes, of the level of the semi-antibody and enable to effectively control the number of disulphide bonds between polypeptides of the multimeric protein and the level of semi-antibodies.
