SUBSTANCE: invention relates to frame for upholstered furniture for sitting. Frame for upholstered furniture comprises seat frame part and foot part attached to car seat part. Seat frame part comprises frame seat structure, which is partially made of hollow tubes, wherein one of the seat frame part and the first leg part comprises a support device, configured to align and temporarily attach at least one of the seat frame portion and the first leg portion to the other of the seat frame portion and the first leg portion. Support device comprises an insertion section located on one of the seat frame part and the first leg part and configured to be inserted into another of the seat frame portion and the first leg part to align and hold the first leg portion, attached to seat frame part in independent intermediate state of assembly, wherein at least one of the seat frame part and the first leg part comprises at least sections of the final connecting device, comprising a fastening plate, a hole located in the other of the frame portion of the seat and the first leg portion, and a final connecting fastening rod. Fastening plate has a channel which is parallel to seat frame seat plane. Final connecting fixing rod is made with possibility of interaction with the hole and with the channel located in the fastening plate. Said rod can be tightened.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of its overall dimensions, simplification of its assembly, as well as reduction of frame weight.
