SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic analysis of biological samples. Flow selection system comprises a plurality of ducts for fluid communication with a flow cell for analysed analytes when a flow cell is installed in said system; a duct selector valve connected to said ducts for selection between the ducts; pump for fluid connection with a flow cell when a flow cell is installed in said system, and for movement of fluids during analysis through one of the flow channels, selected by means of the flow selector valve; and a control circuit operatively connected to the selector flow valve, comprising one or more processors and memory for storing computer-executable instructions, when executing by one or more processors, it is possible to control one or more processors so as to instruct a selector flow valve to select a selected flow, wherein a plurality of ducts comprises a first duct connected to a first channel of the flow cell, and a second duct connected to a second channel of the flow cell, and the duct selector valve is configured to transition between a first state in which the selector flow valve selects a first flow, a second state in which the flow selector valve selects a second flow, and a third state, in which the flow selector valve selects both the first flow and the second flow.

EFFECT: technical result is improved instruments for sequencing analysed molecules, particularly DNA, RNA, and other biological samples.
