SUBSTANCE: processing system for calculating alternative map (84) for distributing electronic density of the analyzed volume comprises processing system (30), configured to calculate a first electronic density distribution map (80) using a plurality of visualization data, calculating a second electronic density distribution map (82), wherein second electronic density distribution map (82) is a simplified version of first electronic density distribution map (80), calculating an alternative electronic density distribution map (84) using the first electronic density distribution map (80) and the second electronic density distribution map (82), wherein processing system (30) is configured to replace, in one or more zones (90), artefacts of first electronic density distribution map (80) by second electronic density distribution map (82) to obtain an alternative electronic density distribution map (84), characterized in that the processing system further comprises a user interface system (40), configured to display first map (80) for distributing electronic density and comprising user input system (42), which enables user to input user data, identifying and delimiting said one or more artifact zones (90) on a first electronic density distribution map. Planning system for calculating radiation dose distribution comprises processing system (30) as per item 1 or 2, intended for calculating a first electronic density distribution map (80) using a plurality of imaging data, a second electronic density distribution map (82) and an electronic density distribution (84) distribution map, wherein alternative electronic density distribution map (84) is calculated using said first and second electronic density distribution maps (80, 82), a radiation therapy scheduling system (45) configured to calculate a first radiation dose distribution using a first electronic density distribution map (80) and recomputing a second dose distribution using an alternative electronic density distribution map (84). Method of calculating an alternative map of electronic density distribution of the analyzed volume comprises steps of calculating a first electronic density distribution map (80) using a plurality of visualization data, calculating a second electronic density distribution map (82), wherein the second electronic density distribution map (82) is a simplified version of the first electronic density distribution map (80), calculating an alternative electronic density distribution map (84) using the first electronic density distribution map (80) and the second electronic density distribution map (82), replacement of electronic density distribution in one or more identified zones (90) of artefacts of first map (80) of distribution of electronic density by second map (82) to obtain alternative electronic density distribution map (84), characterized in that it further comprises a step of displaying a first electronic density distribution map (80) and obtaining user input data, identifying said one or more artifact zones (90). Method of calculating radiation dose distribution comprises steps of calculating a first electronic density distribution map (80), calculating a first radiation dose distribution using a first electronic density distribution map (80), calculating an alternative electronic density distribution map (84) using method of 4 or 5 and/or system according to any of claims 1–3, calculating a second radiation dose distribution using an alternative electronic density distribution map (84). Computer device for radiation therapy processing and planning systems, including a computer program product, comprising control logic for instructing a computer to execute commands which enable the processor to perform the steps of the method as per any of claims 4–6.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention consists in improvement of the electronic density distribution map, which enables to reduce the radiation effect.
