SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hollow roll of absorbent sheet product, method of such hollow roll production and use of hollow roll as toilet paper, house towels, a kitchen towel, a wet wipe, a cosmetic napkin, a handkerchief or napkin. Hollow roll of article from absorbing sheet is made of spirally wound continuous band of absorbing material, having first end and second end. Absorbing material band is wound so as to form an axial hollow channel, located in the center of the relatively hollow roll and passing from one end to the other end of the hollow roll, and so that the first end is located on the outer side of the roll, and the second end is located in the axial hollow channel. Second end of the continuous tape of the absorbent material contains a coating composition containing a polymer. Polymer is a polyether polyol selected from polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol and mixtures thereof, where the polymer has a glass transition temperature lower than 10 °C and a melting point greater than 30 °C. Coating composition does not contain saccharide and is applied in the form of a melt or, after addition of water, in the form of an aqueous solution. Aqueous solution contains at least 10 wt % of the polymer, based on the total amount of the aqueous solution.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining hollow rolls with high resistance to compression, flexibility and elasticity, good destructibility in water and possibility of use along the entire length.
