SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermoelectric element having thermoelectric paths (52A, 52B, 53A, 53B) of alternating types which are in series connected by metal connections (54A, 54B). Thermoelectric element comprises platform (42) suspended above substrate on legs (44A, 44B, 45A, 45B). Platform and legs represent parts of the same heat and electric insulating layer, and each foot supports thermoelectric path. Two legs (44A, 44B) extend from one side of the rectangle, and two legs (45A, 45B) extend from the opposite side. Thermoelectric paths (52A, 52B, 53A, 53B) of the same type are arranged on legs located on the same side of the rectangle.
EFFECT: disclosed is a thermoelectric device.
