FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to latch system, in particular, to latch system for ceiling luggage compartment of aircraft. Luggage compartment latching system in aircraft cabin comprises button-blade assembly including button movable between initial position and actuation position, and latch assembly including lug assembly and hook assembly. At that, the hook assembly includes a hook, a trigger lever made with possibility of rotation from the engaged position to the uncoupled position, and an indicator which is movable from the first position to the second position. At that, the tab assembly includes a tab and a cable passing between the button-blade assembly and the latch assembly. At that, the button movement from the initial position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the rope, thereby turning the trigger lever from the engaged position into the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the tab. At that, rotary movement of the trigger lever from the engaged position into the disengaged position leads to linear movement of the indicator from the first position to the second position.
EFFECT: higher reliability of system during operation.
