FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication systems, for example wireless mobile communication systems, in which data, also called as user data or payload data, are transmitted from the transmitting device to one or more receiving devices, such as mobile terminals. Result is achieved by the fact that the receiving device receives and processes a data signal having at least one signal data unit. Signal data unit has a certain number of symbols in the time domain and a certain number of subcarriers in the frequency domain. Signal data unit includes a control area to provide control data to the receiving device and a payload area to provide payload data to the receiving device. Data of the payload are allocated to control areas of the signal data unit.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide low-latency payload data transmission in a wireless communication system using a data signal having a plurality of resource elements given by time domain symbols and frequency bands in the frequency domain.
