TRANSMITTING A DATA SIGNAL IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH REDUCED THROUGH DELAY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H04L27/26

Abstract RU 2728539 C1

FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication systems, for example wireless mobile communication systems, in which data are transmitted from a transmitter to one or more receivers. This implies reducing the length of the TTI so that the UE can start demodulating the data after receiving the full short TTI. TTI length can be reduced to one OFDM symbol in time. Subframe format (propagation of reference symbols, control symbols and payload) is changed so as to ensure constant payload speed on TTI (that is 10 subcarriers out of 12 at RB for each time symbol are allocated to payload). Two additional ideas affect the TTI length signaling inside the so-called Basic Information Unit and the scenario of simultaneous aggregation of TTI mixed-length carriers. According to one embodiment, the receiver is configured to receive a data signal, which data signal comprises at least one data signal unit, wherein the data signal unit has a predetermined duration in the time domain, a number of symbols in the time domain and bandwidth in the frequency domain, wherein the data signal unit is received in a plurality of transmission intervals, wherein the length of one transmission interval is shorter than the duration of the data signal unit such that the subscript of the data signal unit symbols is received in one transmission interval, and wherein receiver comprises signal processing device configured to process symbols of data signal unit, which were received in one transmission interval.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of delay (less than 1 ms) for services of Ultra Low Delay (ULD) so-called 5G.
