FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of articles from composite materials, namely parts in the form of shells of revolution for power structures. Method of making articles from composite materials includes making a frame from initial material, mounting the frame on a rigid cone-shaped mandrel, carcass impregnation with binder in hydroclave with elastic diaphragm, drying of impregnated frame outside hydroblave and hardening of dried frame in same hydroclave. At that, carcass is calcined before impregnation in heat furnace at temperature 150–170 °C during 1.5–2.5 hours, carcass drying after impregnation is performed in drying chamber. Upon curing, the framework is first heated to 35-45 °C at a specified rate, the heated frame is loaded with pressure of 20–27 kgf/cm. Then, heating is continued to temperature of 60–75 °C at the specified rate, carcass is held at this temperature for 3–3.5 hours. After that, frame is heated to temperature of 155–170 °C at a specified rate, carcass is held at this temperature for 7.5 hours and frame is cooled to temperature of 60 °C at a specified rate and pressure is released.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of articles from composite materials in a hydroclave.
