FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to transformers and their manufacturing. Transformer comprises multiparallel screw winding of low voltage and high-voltage winding of layer type. Both windings are made with vertical cooling channels with wires with combined polyimide-glass-fibre insulation, consisting of polyimide-fluoroplastic film coated with two layers of glass-fibre impregnated with low-strength organosilicon compound, and providing high thermal stability and resistance to chemical agents. Laminated three-leg and single-frame magnetic conductor is made of cold-rolled, rolled and electrical steel. Magnetic conductor, low and high voltage windings are arranged on transformer frame.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of operation with provision of high level of thermal stability and resistance to mechanical damages.
