FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: inventions provide systems and methods of detecting an analyte for detecting the presence of one or more analytes in one or more samples. Method for detecting the presence or absence of an analyte in a sample includes inserting a sample and a sensory connection into a channel having a length and a width, wherein the length is considerably greater than the width, wherein sensory connection flows along channel length; measurement of electric property value for electric property along at least part of channel length after introduction of sample into channel, obtaining access to a reference value of the electrical property, wherein the reference value of the electrical property is associated with the electrical property of the channel along at least a portion of the length of the channel before introducing the sample into the channel, comparison of measured value of electrical property and reference value of electric property and determination of whether analyte is present in channel, based on comparison between measured value of electric property and reference value of electric property.

EFFECT: invention enables to identify an area for improving and enlarging the volume of existing systems and techniques for detecting nucleic acid.
