FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to controlled drives for conversion of control energy into mechanical energy of working member movement and can be used in machine building, robotics, medicine in creation of hydraulic and pneumatic drives operated from gas or liquid action. Chamber drive includes housing, made with possibility of changing shape, stock, flexible inextensible toroidal shell, installed in housing and on rod and forming sealed chamber, filled with working medium with excessive pressure. At that, toroidal insert is arranged in said chamber to make sealed chamber filled with working medium with pressure exceeding said chamber pressure. Besides, said shell is installed with possibility of rod turning and movement, and insert is made with possibility of connection with shell chamber.

EFFECT: invention provides faster operation and safety of operation due to reduced volume of space in working chamber and stabilization of preset value of working medium pressure in it.
