METHOD OF DETERMINING STAND ERROR FOR MEASURING CHARACTERISTICS OF MASS GEOMETRY OF ARTICLES AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01M1/10

Abstract RU 2722962 C1

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment and can be used for confirmation of metrological characteristics during verification, calibration, tests for the purpose of type approval of stands to measure characteristics of mass geometry of articles using static balancing, weighing, inclinations, oscillations, including those made in the form of unifilar suspension or physical pendulum. Method includes determination of the selected configurations of the reference device on the stand of characteristics values and calculation of the stand error based on comparison of the reference device values defined on the stand with their nominal values. At that, when determining nominal values of characteristics of geometry of masses of a reference device, deviation of shape of all modules and geometrical dimensions of fasteners are additionally measured, coordinates of the center of gravity of some configurations are determined by balancing with subsequent introduction of correction for heterogeneity of material and error of the reference device is calculated due to deviation of shape of modules and introduction of correction for heterogeneity of material. Apparatus for determining the stand error for measuring characteristics of mass geometry of articles has three standard reference modules, a segment, a disc and a biasing load. All holes in modules for fasteners are made through without chamfers, cuts and grooves. Central body is dismountable and consists of segments equipped with balancing pins and having the shape of hollow cylinders. Basic configurations of the reference device consist of segments with diameter d and disks with diameter D installed on them with ratio D/d≤1.5. Displaceable weights are made with possibility of rigid attachment to each other and to work table of the stand. Fixing elements can be made in form of bolts and nuts with cylindrical heads with two cylindrical holes for wrench.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring traceability of units of values to state primary standards, tests for type approval, verification or calibration of stands, as well as high accuracy and validity of control.
