SUBSTANCE: means of oral care is proposed, containing a handle; a head attached to the handle, and having a longitudinal axis and a base with the front surface; a cleaning element holder held over the front surface of the base so that there is a gap between the cleaning element holder and the base. The cleaning element holder comprises a first longitudinal segment and a second longitudinal segment which are separated by the longitudinal gap; a plurality of first cleaning elements extending from the upper surface of the cleaning element holder; and at least one second cleaning element extending from the front surface of the base. The axis extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the head intersects the second cleaning element and the cleaning element holder, the second cleaning element extends through the longitudinal gap between the first and the second longitudinal segments of the cleaning element holder.
